Introduction
The customer website is a customizable, no-code solution that provides a straightforward way for customers to manage their accounts. With a modern, user-friendly design, the website lets customers make payments, update personal information, download statements, and more—all in one convenient platform.
While the website does offer customization options, it’s important to note that it isn’t as configurable as other parts of the LoanPro software. This makes it a great fit for small lenders who might not have the resources to build their own site, or as a temporary solution for larger lenders while they work on developing their own custom website.
If you're already familiar with the customer website, you can go directly to our Setting Up a Customer Website article.
Highlights
The website is a white-label solution, meaning you can tailor it with your company’s colors, logo, and branding to create a consistent customer experience. Beyond these visual elements, you can choose between two different layouts to suit your needs.
In Settings > Website, you’ll find options to add various pages to the customer website. You can decide which pages to display and what content to include on them. For more details on configuring these pages, check out our Website Page Settings article.
The content of each page is entirely up to you. Some pages provide specific fields for information, such as phone numbers and emails on the Contact Us page, while others offer a blank field where you can enter any text you like. You can edit these pages using a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) editor, which functions similarly to a word processor, or you can work directly with HTML for more precise customization.
Where does the Customer Website Fit?
A customer-facing website isn't an absolute requirement for every lending operation, but many borrowers will expect modern companies to have a website or application where they can view their balance, make payments, and manage their account details.
If you have custom loan applications in your company account, you can have your borrowers access them through your customer website. Once a borrower has completed an application and your company accepts it, you can instantly create a loan from the information inside of the application.
